I would just print any unit. I guess I'm not very techno savvy! Celia can probably walk you through how to save a web page. She sends me all her units as web pages, and so I think she would know what to do!

For pdf files- Bring up the file and hit save. I would make a new folder (do you know how to do that) and store everything in there.

I hope I am more help than I think I am!

Also, I have been wanting to make a lapbook for A Rainbow of My Own for a long time. I will re-write the unit and post it with a lapbook in a few weeks.

Yes, you can do that. To save any components, you put your mouse over the link and RIGHT click and then do a "Save Link As/Save As/Save File." Just be sure to rename them something you will understand and don't forget where you put them.

I save them to a file on my computer. I have a homeschool folder and lots of sub folders. I also saved the ones I wanted as PDF's. I use Cute PDF. You can install it for free on your computer. http://www.cutepdf.com/ It installs as a printer although you are really not printing. Once you install cute pdf go to the unit you want to save and right click on the screen. A window will open. Choose print and select Cute PDF it will then ask you where you want to save it to. Save it to the folder you have specified. Make sense?

Thanks Ami for posting the list.

While I am sad that this contributor hasn't reconsidered leaving her things here to share, I respect you for doing the admirable thing and removing her work.

I stayed up until 2am last night printing up almost all the lapbook things I need for the rest of this year. Then started again when I woke up and I finished it just now. I am glad to see that none of them are FIAR lapbbook components I am just about out of ink & paper. However, I am all set through June! I was a little worried that I'd be printing up everything for next year as well.

Thanks to everyone who shared how to save the info instead of printing it all up at once! I will remember that!

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, i had time to do the right click thingy (don't you love my computer tech talk )
and some i copy/pasted as well "just in case". i really need to buy a back up system thingy, thumb drive is that what they are called... anyway i am blabbing, just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the information/help! And i am sorry to see them go but i think you are totally doing the right thing ami!
