I can't find any of these movies on Netflix :( I heard such good things about Netflix so at first I thought I wasn't searching well enough but even typing these titles in I still can't find them

We got the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie and it had Mayflower Pilgrims on it, too, which was nice.

I was going to say that we like the Charlie Brown one. It really gives a lot of information. :)

There is "Desperate Crossing:The Untold Story of the Mayflower" which is a History Channel Documentary that was filmed at Plymouth Plantation... I have it in my NetFlix queue for us to study...But it is probably too much for your children... Mine are 6 and 9yo... :D
But our favorite is Charlie Brown!! We always go with that one!! :cheer: :cheer:

Michelle,
I ususally put the topic in the search box and then micro search from the list it gives me... Usually I can find at least one movie on each topic we are studying... (usually several)
I also have used google search for "topic" movies and then look for them on NetFlix...I really like the ones that are instant queue, since we can watch them immediately on TV through the Xbox and that way I can maintain the cheap monthly rate of only 1 movie at a time through the mail... (you can watch as many movies as you want with the instant queue and only pay for the one movie monthly rate)... :D :D

Yes, we love the instant streaming, too, although we do have to watch it on our laptop but it seems to work out fine. I keep saying I'm going to downgrade from 3 movies per month but since we don't pay for tv anymore it really is so much cheaper. And then I always have a decent movie on hand for Friday night, which seems to sneak up on me a lot now!
Thanks for the searching hints!

We don't pay for TV either... We dropped our satellite service and it has been one of the best things we have done... We got a digital antenna (mostly for sports) for $40 and then we watch PBS and alot of Netflix... =)
It works great for us... :D
